After having spent let's see, 426 hours of my life on your server in the last 1.5 years, I am ashamed to say promoting BFROE admins was the single worst decision ever undertaken. Further to the point, the server has terrible lag and plays like shit since the last 3 months.

From which we must conclude that a) the servers were switched to lesser machines then they used to be on and B) Kevin stopped caring about BF2

Kevin, thanks for the hard work you put in back in the day, I know you took care of every problem back then out of your own time. Whatever happened though? The server is now full of laggy knob claymore fests and BFROE admins that kick/ban for the slightest bullshit rule / kick if you kill them too much / kick if you swear. What the f*** is that? You can kill people online but you can't swear? I know this forum has the unwritten rule that swearing is OK, why not an ingame chat in a war simulation?

Anyways, being told to remove WHORE from my tag was the last straw, as in, tank whore, air whore, infantry whore, nade whore, who doesn't say that and play this game? What a f***ing joke. And BFROE Macstar, the kicker for when you kill him to much (I'm sure he has some inventive reasons) you must be 12 years old, and I can't STAND playing with immature little brats who can't take it like a man.

These servers were great because there was NO admins, no bullshit 12 year old clan admins with powerwhore syndrome. I can even live with 12 year old admins on Insomnia, but the lag - I cannot...

So thanks for everything it was great for 1 year I will say that.

I know I'm not really supposed to talk about stuff here. But zenmaster when you make a personal attack on me like that I have to clear it up. I have played and seen you on the server multiple times, I am was infact one of the old day regulars as yourself. I have never kicked anyone for killing me too much that is just absurd, infact I have never even talked to you or warned you for anything, I simply have never had a problem with you.
In-fact I rarely kick anyone I just play along with everyone as I used to. If you were to really press the issue I could dig up all my logs where I have kicked people and show you they were the result of tking for a vehicle. I rarely if ever kick for anything else. I also have not permed banned anyone from Sharqi, as I don't have that right. If you asked any of the current regulars in the server they would all tell you I am a blast to play with and respect other players. Where do you get off saying that I kick people for killing me too much? Everyone who plays with me knows thats the furthest from the truth. I just don't understand why you would make something like this up. It is beyond me.. Please respond Zen I'd love to hear your explanation. BTW I did not kick you for having whore in front of your name, not sure who is responsible for that.

I stopped playing along time ago when the sharqi server became another moron admin place. GJ BFROE, all you ever done was ruin insomnia and brainwash every noob in bf2 to go OMG STATSPADDER RESET BAN CASTRATE LOLZ everytime i attack a uncappable. You people forgot its a video game. I bet you used to run to mommmy when your friend got a better nintendo controller than you.

Because when people get flak from admins, you are usually on with your BFROE tag and there isn't usually more then one admin on Insomnia. Hence the assumed annoyance with you. (it's not like we get to see the admin logs [nor do we care that much we just hate admin bullshit], and every BFROE admin can have an excuse with a 2 page legal document for why to kick people LAWL). I'm usually a pretty nice and straightforward guy, and I will apologize when I'm wrong, but the fact is you are BFROE now, your group sucks, your rules suck, and nobody needs proof to know that any admin in any group will occassionally abuse their power when they are upset, and that is when players get pissed off.

If it is not you, then it is another BFROE being godly with their power. So sorry if you think you are flawless, but as an admin you are going to take a lot of shit even if you are legit, but go by weak rules, and are in a weak admin group such as BFROE where the whole point of your group is absurd. Yes I've admin'ed a BF2 server for months as well as 1942 and DC and CS for years; I know what you have to put up with and I know how many little children there are on the server. The job sucks we all know about it, but when you admin in a poor fashion, such as with the BFROE official rules list (lol what a joke those rules are, and EA does not even care about BF2), people are going to get angry regardless of how starlike your behaviour as an admin or normal player is.

Anyways moving on, I wish Kevin good luck, and everyone played a lot of enjoyable time here, so thanks for that. To everyone else on this forum who can't take a negative comment without giving one back, yes people spent a lot of time here, yes people would do all sorts of crazy stuff before admins, and yes the server is provided for free.

The point of my post was that it was great the way it was before, and hence the attraction of an awful lot of good players. Now it is laggy and full of more gaymore whores then ever and admined by the spanish inquisition. I know it is no skin off your back if you don't actually play on the server, hence so many "constructive" responses. BFROE is happy to play on the server because they can admin any bitch off at their leisure. Everyone else who plays on the server, well the good ones have left haven't they?

Anyways I've said my 2 bits of thanks for Kevin, and I've beaten the dead horse a bit so I won't write anymore here. Macstar, in a word to you, you might be a great guy and you might have only abused once and everyone on my xfire knows it, but the point is once you kick friends for bullshit reasons, the word spreads and people don't like it. Sure admins have to make decisions, but the best decision you could make is to quit BFROE and statpad someone before you leave, because this game is about fun and it's a friggen war arcade game...if I want to spawn camp some knob, teabag his face, and steal his havok I should be able to no?

I have never abused my admin privileges. And lastly I did not kick you for your whore tag, I do not know who that was that did that. I never kick anyone for bs reasons. So pinning that incident on me is WRONG on your part, maybe I was in the game with you when it happened? I'm not sure, but I would not have kicked you for a whore tag, I could care less, my sister is a even a whore.

mac just leave bfroe....it has ruined your rep at all insomnia servers...back in the day when it was just jabomb, you, and myself it was all about fun with the heli...the three of us bordered, tk'd, used the claymore glitch, used offensive language alot. then since bfroe came i said "wtf", stopped playing...got myself 2142..and played that. then i realized you joined bfroe...and seen nothing but everyone flame you and everyone else that is in bfroe since...and im not sure what bfroe's plans are for insomnia servers but it seems like they arent using a good plan with all these players whining here.
