100% Service Level Agreement

I thought it was 99.9%?
100% is impossible. A lightning strike to DLLSTX6 proved that. Although, they are really close to 100%. Maybe that stands for something else? It is listed for every server.
I think it simply means that if they deliver less than 100% uptime you get a prorated credit. Payment is for 100% uptime.
Likewise when you lease the server you agree you'll pay 100% of the price; you can't actually absolutely guarantee that because in life things can happen beyond anyone's control, but if you don't, there will be consequences or costs involved.
The key is that it's not a service level guarantee (where 100% would be impossible) bur rather a service level agreement (where they agree to provide you 100% service for 100% payment; if something happens, you'll get part of your money back.)
