Full Version: Where have my clients / websites gone?
The Planet Forums > Control Panels > Plesk

I have transferred all of my domains to my new server now, finally got the email configured for them all and that seems to be working ok.

I set up a sub client for me, and allocate all the domains to the sub client, all on shared on my IP address. This all looked fine, I even set up physical hosting / forwards for some of them too.

The forwards work, one of my website works, ie the domain resolves to the correct directories but others dont, even though I have used the setup button and physical hosting, used the ftp address and password for each one none of the others resolve, they show a different page to what they should.

Now back to the clients, as I said I set myself up with one, and gave myself all my domains, now that i have logged back in as admin, I dont feature in my clients list anymore. I tried to set myself up as a new client again, but the username was already in use, so i tried again with another one, and allocated a few of the domains to that one too, and again logged back in my new client disappeared again too.

After playing about a bit I now have 4 clients on the desktop, but if I click clients no of them are showing?

Help please what can I do?

First of all, calm down, if you speak slower and clearly, we can better help you.
Your saying that you have created a client account in Plesk for yourself but you can't see the client when you go to the page that lists the Clients?

Do NOT look at the "Desktop", that only lists favorite clients, on the very left top of the page, click on Clients, below the Desktop link.

I think thats what your saying, but I'm not sure.

More or less correct yes, I have created a client and now that I relog in as adim he isnt in the clients ict if I click the clients button.

On the destop is a summary of whats on the system, and under clients it says 4. I can try and grap a screen shot if that helps.

Have you verified that the box for 'Search' is empty? I did this once, and didn't realise that it was only returning the results that matched the search entry (this remains through login/logouts), and not all of the accounts.

If this isn't the case, send me a PM with your ticket number and I'll take a look to see what I can do icon_biggrin.gif
