hi,

i'm having problem with sending email to peculiar ISP in Japan. Since this ISP is one of the major ISP, this is very big problem for me.
anyway, what happening is this...

All the email i've send (like mail magazine or from regular mailer such as outlook) came back with error message below.

CNAME lookup failed temporarily. (#4.4.3)
I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long.
------

this error message usually happens if a dns response for the hostname is larger than 512 bytes and then fail to look up their dns.
So i did some research and found patch for qmail but this patch was already patched on my plesk8 server...

i was working on this problem with orbit person but they also could not find a way to solve this problem.

So i wonder if anyone know or already has any idea to solve this problem, please help. any information is appreciated.

what is the domain that you are trying to send to by the way?

it is ezweb.ne.jp and dion.ne.jp

those are both hosted in Japan

Well, DNSStuff shows that the mail server for the first one is working:

Is there a test address on there I can send something to? I'd also like to know if my Qmail is affected by this, I've never checked.
