Is it possible to have emerge install a package on a different hard drive? I've run out of space (in VMWARE)!

Well, I never worked with VMWare, but if you can mount another drive, than technically, yes. You may need to mount it as an LVM somehow so the new data in all directories will spill over onto the new drive.

I take it you are running VMWare on Linux?

No Linux on VMWARE for Windows.

I mounted the other drive, I'd just like to know how to get it to start using the other drive (EMERGE that is).

Can anyone help me?
