Just curious if this is possible for future release
When pb updates cortex will have the new update in the news etc and can update just like with patches.Reason being close to 300+ servers were being crashed across pb games because people are not aware of the new punkbuster version and the risks of the old.Now I know this may be a long shot but its just a possible addition in the future if possible

"PunkBuster Support NOTICE for All Games (May 22, 2006)
A serious security (buffer overrun) flaw involving PunkBuster was recently discovered and reported. This flaw affects the optional WebTool component of PunkBuster servers on all platforms and for all supported games. This flaw does not affect game players (the PunkBuster Client) nor default installations of the PunkBuster Server, only PB Server installations where the server admin configured the use of the pb_sv_httpPort setting. An attacker with knowledge of the flaw can exploit it by crashing the game server at will. New PB Server Version v1.229 which addresses the flaw began going out for all supported games via our auto-update system within a few hours of the report. Any and all PB Server admins who use the WebTool are strongly encouraged to verify that they are running version v1.229 or higher of the PB Server on all of their servers that have PunkBuster enabled."

I wasn't aware of the PB update until I found this thread. Thanks for the heads up. 
Cortex's news posts are entered manually by our dev team. Right now we don't have an automated news posting system (taking news from one place and putting it into Cortex), and I'm not sure if we can do it and do it right, but we can investigfate the possibility.
Remember that Cortex has its own news systems, so you can make your own announcements to your users when these kind of things happen.

thanx I just saw alot of threads on other forums where servers were being crashed for this so I thought it would be nice for this to be possibly added to cortex or have someone manually add the info
