I have a pretty basic setup using plesk on a windows 2003 super server 2.8. All mail is set up and working fine. I am noticing, though, that mail with even small attachments (often) take a long time to deliver (a lot like a really slow internet connection). I am using Thunderbird as a mail client. Could this be a configuration issue or related to the server's speed, etc?

They take a long time to deliver or a long time to download via POP3?

Long time to deliver (the progress bar in my mail client just creeps along, sometimes stopping altogether briefly). Downloads seem much faster.
