I'm going to be designing/hosting a complimentary website for a local Baptist Church soon. I'll have the pastor look at your site and see what he thinks.

There are some sites that do nothing but link to churches, but it's been a while and I can't find the URL right now.

This may or may not be useful advice, but... have you considered link-exchanging with sites taking a more critical view on the bible? This may give your visitors a more broad and informed view to base a decision on, while at the same time giving you the type of visitors you want to reach with your message.

You should get backlinks from relevant site and get listed your site in relevant directories as well.Target social networking site/community based sites and blogs.
