I want to uninstall BFD and then reinstall. It stopped working and from what I found out the best thing would be uninstalling it and then reinstalling it.

Do I just delete the cronjob and the folder with the files or is there something else I need to do to uninstall it?

You could do that and it should be ok I think, but the great thing about bfd is that it comes with its own uninstall script. Just download it again if needed, then run uninstall.sh and then run install.sh.
