Been fun for awhile, but the dual 2.8 cannot handle a high slot number bf2 server without lagging/crashing out. We had many tickets opened about this, with different solutions attempted. Thanks guy's for trying. Sorry it didnt work out for us. We'll be shutting down tommorow. icon_sad.gif

i think maybe the older chipset/bus speed has alot to do with it. icon_cry.gif
We did however secure an Opteron box, running linux and it has been outstanding for the last two weeks with a ranked 64 slot. wink.gif

Feel free to drop in and check it out anytime.

They certainly are great servers for web hosting - up and running since September of 2004 with not a glitch and very fast speeds.

You had a Windows install here and there is a known bug in the code for windows servers that causes issues with 64-player servers. The issue is not present in the linux code.
