Hi, the /var/log/messages is not more showing the traffic of ips, why can this happening? someone could tell me?

I have a RH 3 with 2.6 kernel

Do you mean the APF drop logs? If so, you need to enable that in /etc/apf/conf.apf (0.9.6 has this option disabled by default, I do believe).
