Ok I am lost here I see no way to warn kick ban in fear or cortex ahd How do we log in as an admin in the server.There is no rcon.????? Plz Help

ANYone How do you admin fear servers cortex wont let you.No rcon
Never mind I found a fear Froums Seems you need to type while in came
SCMD and your Rcon password then you can give comands like SCMD bootname Dogman something like that.

Ok F.E.A.R fans. the admin system for F.E.A.R is somewhat unconventional. The area we use to change game settings is called the SCMD. Bring up the global chat window (T by default) and then log in as an admin by typing the follwing:

SCMD login kungfu-rabbit
(replace the kungfu-rabbit with your server password)

you should get a message: SCMD Login Successful.


Now Type: SCMD (followed By One of the following)

So if i wanted to change the speed at which people run the command i would type is:

SCMD SETGAMEOPTION 0 2.0
because 0 is the index number for runspeed and 2.0 is the new value i want.


Ban a Player From Your Server:
Look at your clientlist (SCMD LISTCLIENTS) and type:

SCMD BANUSER 0
(where 0 is the number next to the player name)


Changing a Map:

SCMD SETMAP 0 - Sets the map to facility
SCMD SETMAP 1 - Sets the map to Streets etc.

i got the basics of scmd commands.... but how can i talk thru the server to ppl ingame? is that possible?

You may be able to do this from the pb webtool.
