Ok, seem to have a slight problem.

Although in whm the Root Email is set to forward to an external account, it does not forward.
Cpanel and Nobody won;t keep its values at all in WHM..;

Anyone know what happened or how to fix this? Brand new server, set up over the weekend.

I can think of anything, off the top of my head, that would cause the mail forwarding to fail. Have you confirmed that cPanel is creating the '/root/.forward' file. If it is creating that file, does it contain the correct e-mail address?

Yeah it does... but logwatch and other reports that go to root are not comin up... I was thinking maybe CRON was not started, seeing as both those apps are in cron, but even if i manual launch Logwatch, it doesn;t send... I will wait till tommorow morning to figure it out.. I have done some minor changes, see if it works. CRON is runnig (crond)
