I am an existing customer, I tried to get a 20mbps connection earlier this week and was told there was no more room and that I should keep trying.

Should I keep opening support tickets? Or would it be better to just keep a thread alive and hope that a staff member will update it when they are available again?

It sounds like you are an existing customer. If so, please open a sales RFQ ticket.
luke
Yes, I am an existing customer, this is in relation to ticket 954773PLNT opened on 10/25/2005.

thank you!
thanh
Thanks, I'll see what I can do.
luke

That's what I was told when I phoned last week.

Let me know too since I asked first ages ago icon_razz.gif

I only need 6.

I need at least 2 20Mbit boxes and I need them pronto. But they are all sold out for a week already. Sales do not give any ETA. I wonder why...

Since you only have 1 post, I'll assume you didn't search any of the forums because if you did, you'd find the answer.

I'll be brief and say if you need it ASAP - better go somewhere else for the time being.

I quickly browsed forums before posting indeed but the answer did not come before my eyes. Would you care to post a link?

And speaking of going somewhere else - can you point out some proper places? FDC sucks big time and anyway overloaded at the moment, OrangeFiber did not even reply to my request thus I consider they are falling apart or also overloaded, all others that I've seen have essentially higher prices.

and another:

...would you like more?

Currently there are NO companies out there that offer what ThePlanet/Servermatrix offers in terms of Unmetered servers. Evo1 and RackSpace only offer 10Mbit connections and a muchly underdeveloped network for the same price TP/SM offers with 20Mbit and a highly developed network. I don't like waiting just like the other guy but believe me, once you're onboard, you'll find it was well worth the wait.

Well, I know that. I did not write on this forum before, but I have around twenty 20Mbit boxes with servermatrix at the moment, not counting 1200G boxes. But it's not the problem for me to wait, it's a problem for my clients to wait... Thanks for the info anyway.
