My machine runs with Red Hat 3, and uses Plesk as the control panel.
Just wondering what would be the format of the temporary URL for a new account added, please?

For example, let's say the IP address of my server is 131.170.1.1 ,
the username of the new account I've just added is "newusername",
the new domain name is "newdomain.com".

Would the temp URL read something like http://131.170.1.1/~newusername/ ?
Or something similar, please?

Well, that's how apache generally does it, but plesk might do it differently. Have you tried asking God?

Edit: according to a 2 second search by god, it's http://server.ip/~their_ftp_username (not their plesk username, site domain etc etc)

Anyway, what do you call this kind of URLs anyway?
Is "temporary URL" the right term?

Support team has suggested:

https://ip.add.re.ss:8443/sitepreview/http/...domainname.com/

edit your hosts file on your pc to point the domain to the IP
