Will Insomnia offer the ability to add Source MODs via the cortex engine? http://dystopia-game.com/ just released their DEMO and it's a hit!!!! Dystopia is being pimped by Valve. I don't want all the Source MOD's to be supported just the popular ones.

So... will Cortex (Ranked servers aswell) support popular Source MOD's in the future? (and now for Dystopia Demo)

It's all about what the demand is if a game will be directly supported by Cortex.

If enough people want it, we'll add it. Since it's based on the source engine, it *should* be cake to do.

Took a look at this mod tonight. Reminds me of Natural Selection mod for regular Half Life.

Sweet! I'll have to check it out (I installed it on my PC at work, just need to look at it).

I used to play Natural Selection way too much, was a playtester back in the day. icon_smile.gif

It has that futuristic feel like NS does. I am sure gameplay will be a bit different though since I didn't see any aliens icon_razz.gif

HL2 CTF is another good MOD for source. I had a CTF game server for a while on another box. And it had plenty of ppl in it.. The 2fort map was a big hit.. They probably have it updated big time by now.. Would be nice to have that option on such a nice engine..
