How come there isn't a materials folder for CS:S in Cortex?

We cannot make a folder either.

Without this folder, we can't use maps that require custom materials.

Yea this is very needed info please anyone??

Also why does some zip files that are maps get rejected or to large when uploading through cortex..

And redirects or where are custom map instalsl downloaded to ppl entering the server? As I can see the materials are not even downloaded for the map that was in a custom map zip file that was uploaded through cortex..

Where can we find this info? Or is this bugs or what? We got to be able to load custom maps and the materials that go with it some how?right?

Thx for any help guys!!!

Do you get an error when creating this folder? Please PM me your account number and we'll look into the map uploading issue.

Hey Kevin.. The tech that had my TT in orbit said he would send it to gaming department or somthing.. Could you guys please get together or somthing and please fix CS:S so it can have a materials folder.

Like I told him. I mainly paid for this server to run 2 games CS:S and BF2 ranked. And Neither is working the way it should..

I have 2 servers set up of each. Neither CS:S installs had a Materials folder. Neither BF2 servers are updating ranks..

I am having the same issue (among) others with UT2004, the Textures and Static meshes folders are not viewable, but they are there if u go look at them outside of cortex but that doesnt help the rentee. I also cannot edit the UT2004.ini to add mutators, the little box to add custom cvars doesnt work properly, in UT2004 the custom cvars need to be in a specific location not just randomly or at the bottom where cortex puts them. I have a trouble ticket open 846731PLNT please help! A simple fix would be to change the security settings on the file UT2004.ini so it could be downloaded with file browser, edited and then uploaded to the server. Right now if u try this I get an error that says "cannot upload this file is cortex controlled".
