Hello,

im allowing my customers to connect to there own Remote Desktop accounts on my server (running win2003)

jw, is there a firewall out there that would allow me to authize what exe programs they can run? (they cant just click allow on there side, it is auto-blocked and needs to be autherized on the admin acc)

You probably don't want to be doing that unless you can REALLY trust your customers.

A firewall deals with activity at the network level, it has little to do with operating system sandboxing. You should review NTFS permissions and proper user security. I have no experience thing like this, although this is esentially what Terminal Services does, I don't know if there is more to the security model.

well it should be ok security wise

ive gone though settings up permissions, disableing access to certain folders from certain accounts so they can only get to theres, etc

im currently running Tiny Personel Firewall 5, which MD5's applications and adds the hash to the allowed list, wenever u run a program that is not on the allowed list, it asked u to allow/deny the program

thats great & all, problem is, non-admin accounts can run a virus and click Allow, i need to be able to moniter which exes can be ran
