How do I get my windows server to display detailed script error messages for my ASP web pages, instead of the general "500: Internal Server Error"?
Thanks
Kyle

That's actually a client-side issues. Disable friendly HTTP error messages and you should start seeing the actual errors.

Hiya
Thanks for the tip - but my browser (IE) already has this disabled. And on other sites I host on a different (shared) server I don't have this problem.
I tried browsing in Firefox but I can't see an option in that to disable friendly error messages.
I've looked through IIS and there is an option to either "show detailed ASP error messages to the client" OR "show the following message:
An error occurred on the server when processing the URL. Please contact the system administrator."
Needless to say I have opted for the former.
The 500 error message I get is not the one quoted above.
I really don't know what's going on!
