Hi!
I have two servers and I set two NameServers as:
ns1.domain.com - IP of first server
ns2.domain.com - IP of second server

I understand that if domain is on first server it will be load from first server, and when on second server, from second server. I wait for more than 36h. for reset nameservers on my domain provider and nothing is working as I want. One domain, which I added load well, but another not.
Should I set that nameservers into my servers?
I use DirectAdmin Control Panel and there in Nameservers I set them.
I don't have any idea how to do it what I want. Could you help me?
Thanks.

I forgot, when I ping domain on first server sometimes it works good, but sometimes I have an error that domain is unknown host. Thanks.

Regards.

the secondary nameserver has to match the primary nameserver records.. basically they both have to have the same A,MX, Cname etc Records pointing to the correct server ..

primary and secondary purpose is if one dns server goes down or become overloaded then the secondary will help out .. this is not a failsafe solution-- if thats what ur trying to accomplish
