What does this error mean?

"Chassis Intruded sensor detected a drive bay intrusion"

It's in the event log of my remote reboot inside orbit.

My server started crashing 5 hours ago and this error is showed at the exact time the problems started.
Kyle
Somebody made off with one of your drives. Was a tech working on the server at the time?
camilo-rf
No...not at that time.

My problems started just after the logs showed that error.

What do you exactly mean? That a tech took of one of the drives?

Thanks
Kyle
That would be my best guess. Most PC cases these days will detect a chassis intrusion (opened case). This seems to go a step further and actually detects intrusions into the drive bays.

Either that or it's malfunctioning.

At first IIS started crashing. From the logs it seemed to be an application pool problem. I did not manage to completely locate the problem and opened a ticket.

Some hours later I needed a reboot. I did a reboot from Windows and just after rebooting windows showed a message saying the system was going to shut down.

Now the server is constantly rebooting itself.

The error means that the case at one point in time was opened, not that a hard drive was removed. It may have been opened by our techs during their troubleshooting process. Have you opened a ticket for the constant reboots?
camilo-rf
Yes 788526PLNT.

He has been looking at it for the last 40 minutes. Could a higher level tech look at it?

Thanks
