Ok I dont know whats wrong but I changed an accounts domain and now it just says this for the new domain http://www.webdesignclan.com icon_sad.gif
eddy2099
Seems to work fine for me, although now your .co.uk domain points to a directory.
patriotcow
Your using internet explorer?
eddy2099
Well, tested it with both Firefox and IE. Works fine here.. it could just be an issue of DNS propagation..

For me, webdesignclan.com shows the contents of WebDesignTalk but WebDesignTalk.co.uk shows a file listing.
patriotcow
Yes thats right and other people see that to,, hmmm this is really weird. Is it my ISP or icon_confused.gif
eddy2099
I always notice that too. I am usually the last to see my contents updated.

If you are using Windows on your own computer, sometimes doing a

CODE
ipconfig /renew

would do the trick or hitting the Reload/Refresh button many times would work too but not anyways.
patriotcow
C:Documents and Settingswebmaster>ipconfig /renew

Windows IP Configuration

No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection 2 while it has its media
disconnected.
An error occurred while renewing interface Local Area Connection : The system ca
nnot find the file specified.

 its not my luck!
eddy2099
Looks like you have more than one NIC on your computer.

Find the name of the one which is active on your server, probably 'Local Area Connection 1' and do something like

CODE
ipconfig /renew "Local Area Connection 1"
patriotcow
I gave up and changed the name to webdesignbase.com its all fine now icon_smile.gif thanks anyway.
patriotcow
Can you do me a favor and tell me where the following domains take you, My pc dns or isp's dns is must be broke:

patriotcow

eddy2099
