Ok now someone please correct me if I'm wrong here, cause I'm a HELM newbie and something about this just doesn't seem right.
Now I have pointed my nameservers to my first assigned IP at my registrar. I've also setup DNS, Mail, IIS MSSQL, and everything HELM needs to function correctly.
So to create my nameserver domain I have to create a reseller plan for this domain so well just call this a fake plan, and with this fake plan I must create a fake reseller, then under this reseller create a fake package for a fake subscriber who at this point is actually "ME", THEN assign a package which will hold the domain for my nameserver?? WHAT!!! This can't be true. There has got to be a better way to do this. Can someone tell me why an Admin or Reseller account cannot create domains in HELM? icon_evil.gif

Domains are assigned to users, not admins or resellers. So yes, with Helm 3 you will need to create a "fake" reseller and users under that reseller, then domains to your users. But it isn't really "fake" - just think of it as a three-tier system. You have the admin at the top that alters the system, then under that are resellers - now, if you don't HAVE any resellers you can simply set yourself up as a reseller with all resources set to 99999999 and there won't be a problem in adding domains. It also means that if your company grows later, you can still add resellers.

Helm 4 will be a little different, so you will be able to specify a 1, 2, 3, or N-level system.
