Full Version: how to clean all DNS entry like a new server ?

i got a hard problem with DNS when i change my host name ... some time ask me to add the host name and when i try to add it i got an error message like : host name already exist.
and when i look to DNS editor or want to delet DNS , i don't find my host name dns or my praimary name server.

the site are work in some countries onaly and got an error dns message at some ISP, so any one know how to clean all entry and return the server like the first login and make a new cPanel setup ?

Try :

/scripts/fixndc

in /etc/resolv.conf every thing is okay

and on /scripts/fixndc
Found key in named.conf ..
Found controls in named.conf ..
named.conf has already been fixed!

i just need the way to reset my server setting.
are there some thing like that ? or i can't do it ?

Well, do it manually :

1) del all accounts.

2) check out the DNS entry under WHM/dns functions

3) reset your server via WHM/server setup/edit setup

I did it one or two time before !... wink.gif

theproblem that when i go to WHM/server setup/edit setup and want to add the dns i got message : DNS exist, but i didn't found the DNS under WHM/dns functions to delet them.

it's don't apper in DNS Zones, but i got message that it's exist
