Anyone notice any problems with the latest Fantastico? Currently running MySQL 4.1.10 and have been for a while. So far tried many different programs and directories and accounts. All of the files get installed anf the config.php file with the proper password, however each and every install gets DB connection failures.

Anyone have any ideas? I also changed mysql user passes manually and edited config.php and it still leaves me hanging with database connection errors.

It is also not the user permissions on the database as the auto-created user is correctly set in cPanel, under the proper Database. I am at a loss... :shock:

Do you have the same problem if you just create the DB in Cpanel natively ?

What gets me is several other people running the same MySQL 4.1.10 and same Fantastico and cPanel versions work fine. Yesterday this worked, even. Today, I get nowhere. I didn't upgrade anything, remove anything, reconfigure anything.

EDIT:
And creating databases/users via cPanel fail as well. Again, worked fine just the other day and still works fine on others' servers. hmmm

Me, before upgrading FANTASTICO, I lost all FANTASTICO's scripts under cPanel ( like first time installing FANTASTICO ) !?!...

But after the upgrade, all scripts are back ! Amazing !... and
