Feb 1 - Feb 15 was one pay period for me. 89 hours were "normal" time for that pay period. I had 131 hours. So much overtime I got pushed into another pay bracket and lost money:(
Since the 15th, Ive been working 10 - 14 hour days still, so I am afraid of the same thing happening.
Solution: Rent a server form server matrix, start a business with it and next year write it off on you taxes to lower your tax liability so that you can get the extra money they took out of your check this past week!
yeap, if your smart you can win the tax game. I pay less in taxes each year than my employee's who make a 1/3 what i do annually. I write everything off down to my underwear and socks. This did come back and haunt me when i was younger and trying to get a home mortgage, since my tax records show me as making very little taxable income..
I own 3l small buisness's, for example i own a lawncare buisness. I only cut a couple yard's though, but becuase i've registered it as a buisness i wrote off my $6000 lawn mower, gas and blade sharpening fee's...yada yada yade.. You get the point? Now with my online buisness it allows me to write of video games, computer's, servers, yada yada..
I still payed close to $7000 though in taxes but no where near the average 25-35% employee tax rate.
