I've just got my first server with yourselves, and i was just wondering if Floodguard has now been replaced with the TippingPoint network wide thing?
Thanks

Tipping Point is already implemented for all servers apart from those unmetered plan. Floodguard is still being used in association with Tipping Point to provide a more complete intrusion mitigation solution as far as I know. But of course the switch is that now the solution is free.

Actually i'm still being charged for floodguard...
I contacted SM and they said:
QUOTE
"Until the new product, CiscoGuard, has been fully deployed - Floodguard is still active. The billing will be removed once the new product has been officially rolled out."

Are CiscoGuard and the TippingPoint system the same thing?
So does this mean that the TippingPoint system is not fully up and protecting my system now then?
Thanks
Ben

I believe CiscoGuard refers to the Cisco/Riverhead solution and TippingPoint is another solution altogether. All working together to protect the network and thereby protect you.
