Very fast and reliable. A lot better than aventuremedia/host servers at ev1 icon_wink.gif icon_razz.gif

It's great, average ping 115-130ms depending on transit.

Seems rather high to me my other US servers average around 80/90ms.

Doesn't really matter tho there is very little difference and the other features provided by SM make up for it icon_razz.gif
APC Hosting
I get around 120-125ms

Ex-aventuremedia client - I used them for backup (2003), I took down their servers and forums just before I left, used a couple hundred gig of bandwidth over my allowance by using wget from a cron and ftp'd a load of warez to someone else's account via php, bad security on their boxen back then icon_smile.gif

I take it your 80-90ms boxen are east-coast? (I get around that to the east coast), but since the planet is on t'other it takes a bit longer for packets to get there.

Edit: possibly know me from pipexsupport too, but I left pipex because their support was too slow, then after I cancelled they billed me for another full year of access icon_rolleyes.gif
iNETFX - Ben
Average 115ms - in TX2

Paul,
Thought so - Didn't know you were at PS though icon_razz.gif
Its a small world! icon_smile.gif
Never even knew you left aventure... you just disappeared from the forums one day...

I expect the other servers are west coast so I'm not surprised although as I said SM sound much better than my previous providers (although being worse them them would be very hard)

Speeds good for me here on Blueyonder in London, 115ms. icon_biggrin.gif

Paul, West Coast would be about 180-200ms for you, East Coast would be 80-90. icon_razz.gif
