At dnsreport.com, I did a check of my domain. The emaill address listed for Hostmaster E-mail address is a personal one that I do not wish anyone doing a lookup of my domain to have access to.
Any ideas how I can change this? I'm on a Windows 2003 box with Plesk 7.
Thanks!

I believe that Plesk sets this to the email address of the box administrator. (At least it does on my Linux box.) On my Plesk, this can be changed at Server --> Administrator Information --> Edit

Or just go in to DNS Administrator and edit the SOA record manually to an email address you do want to make public.

CPromtp, is the DNS Administrator in Plesk or Windows? I didn't find anything in Plesk that allows that info to be edited.

CPrompt, I think I found the DNS in Windows you speak of, but it is not functional. I assume this is because Plesk is using Bind. Wouldn't I mess something up if I installed the Windows DNS?
Sorry if this is a dumb q...I'm a semi-noob.

Sorry, I don't know anything about plesk, but I guess, like most control panels, it does things its own way. I wouldn't be surprised if it did use bind or something badly ported from Linux
If you found DNS Admin and it's disabled, then just ignore my last post, I didn't realise Plesk replaced so much of the stuff that Windows provides as standard.

Yep, it does. I guess the next version of Plesk will integrate the Microsoft DNS server (novel idea for a windows box, eh?)
I've done some screwing around with some settings...I'll see if they propagate. Thanks!

BIND has been supported on Windows by ISC for a very long time...
And JDC, did you edit the Administrator contact information? As I posted, this should take care of the problem.

DeadEye,
I did take alook athe administrator info as suggested. What I noticed is that the email address that was there actually forwards to the email that was being displayed in the SOA record.
I made an edit in there to a different address. When I do a lookup on dnsreport.com, it still shows the address I don't want displayed. This cahnge wouldn't be immediate...would it?
I don't know that the domain has fully propagated yet as I just transferred it over yesterday. Would that make a difference?
Thanks for the help,
JC

I figured it out The adress is taken from the Plesk Client Information that the domain is being created under:
Clients > *Client Name*> Edit
