Is there any reason why I should not remove the ns.mydomain.com since I don't believe it will be used?

I see that by default, plesk has added ns.mydomain.com in my DNS records. I will be using dns1.mydomain.com and dns2.mydomain.com
Is there any reason why I should not remove the ns.mydomain.com since I don't believe it will be used?
