Twice in 2 days we had people asking for Call of Duty 1.1. First time a guy actually orders the server without asking then drops a support tickets asking us to change his server then 1.1 after setup because he didn't want 1.5 and got really mad when I told him 1.1 wasn't an option and if you had email sales, posted in the sales forums or done any method to contact us BEFORE buying, we would have told you so. Second guy wanted a 1.1 test server for 24 hours. Something tells me he's looking to freeload for match or similar because he wanted us to wait till Saturday if we can...

Anyone explain why all these people want COD 1.1? Anyone here that hosts COD get similar requests? (I think COD 1.1 sucks and they are a bunch of thiefs who warez version only works up to 1.1)

Some like the gameplay in the old versions. This kind of stuff was rampant in the Jedi Outcast community. You had groups of people who only played v1.02, v1.03, and v1.04. They were all quite vocal about why their version ruled and why the other ones sucked.

1.0 is stil the best version to play on...in my opinion

Isn't there some mods that are available to mod the weapon files so they behave in 1.1 fashion or is it something else I'm missing?

What patch was it where they got rid of the bunney hopping and all that?? 1.2?

I think it was 1.2 maybe. If they are bunch of bunny hoppers good riddence. there is always stright up q3 for that.

There are a ton of mods that wont work with 1.51, we havent had any requests to change the version, but we had a lot of issues with servers crashing do to the mods and the 1.51 patch. Once the mods are removed the server runs stable with out any crashes. It is a huge pain in the butt/

1.4 was by far the best version.

GMI got ahold of it and screwed everyone with 1.5x....

I don't have any trouble with 1.51. Are yall Linux or Windows?

we've got several scattered across each patch version. That's why we quit updating everyone at once for this game.
