Hi,
PHP is not working. It wants to download instead of process the scripts. I have recompiled apache and reinstalled zend to the latest version.
I compared the httpd.conf to another server with the same setup.. Everything about php is listed correctly.
I can not seem to get past this, any ideas?

Do the http logs show any errors when Apache is started?

Do you have an AddType entry for .php files?

Ok I think I may of found the problem:
First the httpd.conf is exactly the same as another working server as far as any settings go.
Except this:
LoadModule perl_module libexec/libperl.so
I do believe on a CPanel system php is processed through perl which may explain why it's not working.
Does anyone know how to install this module? I have looked under Install an RPM but there is so many things there to choose from.

I finally fixed this after much frustration.
I must of missed something in the httpd.conf when I was comparing 2 of them. I changed httpd.conf.bak to httpd.conf and everything started working again.
So in other words, I can not use WHM to build apache because it screws things up.

I've found a problem in easyapache that can cause php not to work under certain circumstance (because easyapache refuses to recompile apache).
You can find my workaround to force a rebuild here:
