I'd like some suggestions or some other reference on what my problem may be.
I have a new Plesk 7 Windows install. I have a domain setup, nameservers setup, and physical hosting setup. When I go to the domain in the browser I can see I am hitting my server (No site error from plesk).
1. I can also connect via FTP. WHen I do I do not see anything. Am I supposed to ?
2. WHen I try to upload a file or create a directory I get the '550 Access Denied Error Message"
.... and yes I am using passive FTP.
I'll look in the manual again but I gone over it several times. I set up the user, the domain, and physical hosting for the user. I am using the same userid and password that I filled in the Frontpage.FTP fields. And still no dice. I can go in via the file manager in plesk and create files - just not from FTP.
ANy help is appreciated.

paste the output from the FTP program into here.
I'm not sure what program you use but most show a text display of the command exchange between server and client.

That was the paste - see above.
I try to create any directory or file via FTP (after setting up a new site with Plesk) and I get:
550 newdir: Access is Denied.
What controls permissions of a domain on plesk? After I create a domain and a hosting account on plesk should I not be able to connect in, go to httpdocs, and upload files?

i meant the whole ftp log.. not just the error.
and yes you should be able to create the ftp account and just go login etc...
do a 'cat /etc/passwd' and find the line containing the ftp user you created and look at the home dir set. it should be /home/httpd/vhosts/SOMEDOMAIN.com/
