Full Version: Sharing ip's and SSL for reseller customers?

I have recently setup a reseller account for a customer and given them two ip's for their private name servers. The main system shared IP is .138, and the ip for my customers name servers are .140 for ns1 and .141 for ns2, and their root reseller domain that was created is using the .140 ip as normal. But every account they create in their web host manager is being created on the .138 ip address. How is it possible to fix this so the reseller is creating accounts for the .140 ip address instead of the .138 system shared ip?

On another note, they want to setup an SSL on one of their domains. Seeing as their main reseller domain is pointing to .140 and all accounts are now being created correctly to the shared IP .140, how will the Shared SSL Certificate work?

I did a test and created an account and it created the account to the IP .140. I then tried going to http://xx.xx.xxx.140/~username/ and it came up with a page cannot be displayed type error. But when I went to http://xx.xx.xxx.141/~username/ it worked. Does this mean that my reseller customer should setup the SSL on the .141 IP address so other customer's he hosts can benefit from the Shared SSL by going to http://hissecuredomain.com/~username/ or?
