I recently rented a windows 2003 and I want to run two spearhead servers.
How would I assign another ip to the second server?
talkster5
in the command line put +set net_ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

I dont have the game installed. I just uploaded my MOHAA folder and started a server so when I do this it doesn't work. Is that the problem?
Sorry I have just been renting serveral servers but it just got to expensive so I decided to rent a dedicated server.

Try this site, you can find a dedicated server setup guide there.

thanks for the link. I was putting inside the quotes. But now I get this. Could it be my other ip's aren't activated?

You are now setup for medium mode.

Its telling you the .115 is not an available ip. If it is in your ip range that you were given from SM then you may need to bind the ip's to the nic. Isuggest you submit a ticket and ask them to help you out.

Beaten to the punch :o

If you feel you can add the ips on your own here are the instructions. If not you can open a ticket as Preacher said, and SM will add them for you.

Open your network connections
Right click on Local Area Connection and click properties.

In the top window highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties

From this page click Advanced bottom right.

Top pane show your currently assigned IPs. You can simply click the add button and type the next IP in. Make sure you use the same subnet mask info as the first one uses.

Should be it. icon_biggrin.gif
