In the USA its simple most times, most basic rights are in the Bill of Rights. Can someone please refer me to legislation/law that gives me as a UK citizen the right to an (equal) education?

well in the uk if you under 16 you are forced to go to school. its law. if you dont your parents get fined.
i think that says you have the right to an education lol
in some circumstances if your a little shit and no school will touch you, you do your work at home and get visits from someone
when you hit 16 and have sat your gcses what you do next is up to you

Right, but I do need a refernce in UK law that states that a child (16) has a right to an equal education without hinderance from discrimination from teachers.

That's what we don't have - a constitution and/or bill of rights. We have laws, but they are all just spread around in a mess. Nothing is set in stone that clearly says what our rights are. In fact, you only find out what laws there are half the time when you break the damn things

It's also legal to kill a welsh person with a bow & arrow after 10pm if you see them walking around the city walls of Chester.

Apparently this is the York one
Excluding Sundays, it is perfectly legal to shoot a Scotsman with a bow and arrow.

In Chester, its legal to shoot a Welsh person with a bow and arrow inside city walls after midnight. In york, excluding Sundays, you are allowed to shoot a Scottsman with a bow and arrow.
If you present the Mayor of York with 50 Scotsman's heads, you get the keys to the city.
however, if you cut off 50 heads, thats going to be one hell of a quickning
