I'm new to SM, so be gentle with my n00b questions icon_wink.gif

I've had my welcome e-mail for my server, and I logged in but couldnt find or access helm. After looking in Orbit, I noticed I had a ticket called "Install HELM - AUTO". Does this mean at some point soon Helm will be installed by SM, so I should just hold on?

Cheers,
Ian

You could RDC into your server and see if Helm is installed. I believe in another thread, it was mentioned that ASP is not enabled by default on Windows 2003 and that caused Helm not to work. You will need to enable it to get it working.

If you do not find it find the Helm directory on the server then you could probably wait for them to have it done within the next few days.

There will probably be a Helm icon on the desktop to let you know it's been installed.

Ian,

Out of curiosity, how long did it take between seeing the "Install HELM - AUTO" ticket and actually seeing Helm installed on the server?

I've ordered a Helm Server (Looking at it as a possible alternative to Plesk 7.5 which is giving me fits), and it has been close to 24 hours since I've received the welcome to servermatrix e-mail, but still no Helm on the server, just the "Install HELM - AUTO" ticket in orbit.

Can you please provide a ticket number so we can further investigate this issue?
