Not really, most of the changes are just that the firewall is enabled by default now and might block some programs from doing stuff.

You're best to turn off the Windows firewall and use your own anyhow; the windows firewall is useless as it doesn't block outgoing traffic, and any program like a trojan can turn it off itself.

My main problem with XP2 is with the changes with mshtml.dll which is being used by some WYSIWYG HTML editors. I am getting access violation with it and going no where after that.

only issue iv had on win xp pro is nero needed to be updated

other then..everything is ok so far..
