Hello,

I am new to WHM & cpanel.

Recently, I got dedicated server from servermatrix.

When I tried to create an domain account from WHM, I kept getting following error message:

Please setup a nameserver under Server Setup in WHM!!!

Missing NS Config Line in /etc/wwwacct.conf

Because of this problem, I was not able to add any of my domains to the server. What should I do?

Do I have to setup a nameserver as it said? If so, how to do it? Do I need a domain to be used as a nameserver? I've never setup/create a nameserver so I do not have any idea.

Is there any way that I just used the name server servermatrix gave me as below?

ns1.servermatrix.com 216.185.111.10
ns2.servermatrix.com 69.56.222.10

Please help me. icon_cry.gif

Is the above possible to do, or must you setup your own nameservers?

That works just fine. No you don't have to run your own nameserver. When the error says "Please setup a nameserver" in that context, it means only that you need to specify what nameservers you're using.
