I am thinking of setting up a windows 2003 based server a hardware firewall is over my budgit at the momment!

So i am looking to use a software firewall as a temp measure.

Has anyone had good results?

which firewall would you recommend?

and how do you install it with out getting locked out? ie when first started it may block ports used for remote admin!

I will try the RRAS setup ..... good idea about the batch file to stop you from getting locked out ..... if you know your firewall services you should be able to do this with any firewall
