I just received my NAS backup passwords and ran:
smbmount //xx.xx.xx.xx/username mountpoint -o username=username
On the latest Debian release (installed just some days ago) I got this error message:
"ERROR: smbfs filesystem not supported by the kernel
Please refer to the smbmnt(
smbmnt failed: 255"
Is there a simple answer than compiling a new kernel?
Thanks in advance,
Best,
Torsten
