Get your hands on Firedaemon, then use it to run your RVS server as a service.
Remember, due to bad use of multihoming by UBI you will only be able to run off the servers default IP
Only servers with the default port 7777 will allow players to join via IP. ingame browser & a third party application (ASE etc)
All other servers using different ports 7778, 7779 etc players may only join via ingame browser.
PS
FireDaemon the free version only allows one service, you will nee to purcase the pro version to run more than one instance.
I highly recomend it.
I thing FarCry here can get you a good price on it.

i indeed can get a good price on it

but i wont be giving the discounts out anymore. Just buy it off the FireDaemon webstore or get it free with

Yeah one of X-Gamings clients was talking about that when I was on vent with him. Sounds good that they are keeping the series going. I might actually buy this one as from what I have heard of RVS3 it is very good. I just choose to leave the hosting for it to people like X-Gaming

Uses up to much resources for me all though I may choose to hose RVS4 if it comes out.

Don't get your hopes up too much.. RVS 4 is still being developed by UBI so I don't assume anything will change drastically server side..

I suppose.Thats the good thing about grey matter as they are supposed to be reworking the maps to try and reduce the usage when they release a patch for UO.
