Hi All,

I just got my first box here a few days ago (24th) I'm just curious how does the month roll over work? If I have 1200 GB, when will that turn into a new 1200 GB? July 1st? So do I have 1200 GB to burn in a few days or what?
That of course I assume is directly related to billing.

So if someone could give me a little example that'd be great. Thanks!

Yup, the bandwidth would restart on the 1st of every month. Unused bandwidth for the prior month would be forfeited.

I am not sure if you have full 1200gb this month but it is probably so. However, if you could use the full 1200gb within the next 6 days, it means that subsequent months, you might be running out of your free bandwidth allocation. I guess if that is the case, they could make back from what you use this month.

Thanks Eddy, so when are they going to make you a moderator around here or something? icon_razz.gif You answer a lot of questions that's for sure.

I'm not planning on really burning bandwidth as fast as that, I just wanted to know if I should put at least a nice chunk of it to a good use or something.

So I get rebilled for the new month right, so am I paying basically the monthly price for about 1/4 of it? I always get confused with accounting side of things. lol icon_cool.gif

Yup, they pro-rate this month so you basically get to pay what you have the machine for. Then next month onwards since it would be a full-month, you prepay for that month and onwards.

In the unlikely event that you need to give up your machine, just provide them with at least 7 days prior to the end of the month. This is the same if you need to 'upgrade'.
