I apologise as this is probably a very easy question, but I have never tried to do this before.

In cPanel, how can I set up a subdomain and give it different DNS servers than the main domain?

You may be able to do this by setting the subdomain up in WHM as it's own account.

I've done that and it appears to have worked, however it's also created the 'a' record with my standard IP, which of course is not where this site will be (or I'd use my own DNS). Can I delete/change this without breaking the whole thing, and if so what goes there intead?
