Iīm trying to create an account with the same domain name than the one that the server has.
my hostname is fran.mydomain.com and I want to create an account with that domain name so my clients can check my website at www.mydomain.com but cpanel wonīt let me do it
I can manually edit httpd.conf and everything but I suposse thereīs a way of doing this trough cpanel.
Any tips?

Why won't it let you? any error messages?
I didn't have a problem using the same domain as the hostname.

There shouldn't be a problem doing it. All you need to do is to create a site for 'mydomain.com' and it will create the necessary Cname or A record for 'www.mydomain.com'.
If you try to just create a 'www.mydomain.com' , it may disallow you from doing so because 'www.mydomain.com' is considered a subdomain based on 'mydomain.com' which has not be created as yet. The main domain needs to be created prior to the subdomain based on that domain name be created.
