I attempted to login to my old reseller account cpanel to bring account files across, recieved the email notification it was successful.

It was not.

Is there another way to bring over customers data to the new server without using the restore feature and downloading etc ? ssh? or ??

If you know the passwords of the individual accounts, you could use the WHM transfer function in WHM to do the site to site transfer.

so really no short cuts around this? My old reseller cpanel is malfunctioning with transfering the data across to servermartrix. Which two servers are incorrectly setup? and or need in of immediate attention, I think i know..

You will need to do the transfer from the new server end to pull the old files. The WHM site to site transfer facility is already is a great shortcut as files need to be moved from one machine to another. At least, you do not need to set up the site on the new server by hand then ftp the files over and set up all the permissions and settings one by one. That's what I had to do when I transfer from a Cobalt RaQ to a Cpanel/WHM machine.

i understand the old host is closing down and has a firewall up. Needs additional support, so its rather slow and a pain.
