Ok well here is my problem.
I have downloaded AAO for Linux onto my server, and tried to install it. I get this error:
root@cpanel [/]# sh ./armyops200a-linux.bin
Verifying archive integrity... All good.
Uncompressing Army Operations for GNU/Linux 2.0.0a........Extraction failed.
Signal caught, cleaning up
root@cpanel [/]#
I have re downloaded from a different source after rm'ing the file, it is being executed from / as root, as you can see.
Anybody know whats wrong here?

I believe the AAO Linux client extracts files to /tmp. It needs a bout 1.6G of space I believe. How much space do you have left in /tmp? Run `df -h` to find out.

Possibly. You can resize your partitions on the fly, but I don't reccomend it. You may be able to unmount /tmp for a bit to have it all extract to your main partition, but this might interfere with whats currently running on the server. :/

If you can extract it and install it on a home computer, you can just upload it peice by peice...which will take some time, however.
If you need more help with that, AAO server is my strong point on my server.

Heh Kevin pointed it out, fixed it by running it with the --target variable and it extracted to a folder on the main drive and installed fine, runs fine with no lag and no packetloss on a 2.4ghz celeron with 512mb ram, 42 sites, Teamspeak and now a 12 man AA server. Fine machine it is.
Thanks Kevin, and thanks to Fusion I'ma have a look at your site now.
