This may sound extremely dumb but do I use my Orbit login information to log into plesk? Sorry for the newbie question but this is my first experience with Plesk and Server Matrix.

The Orbit password is used exclusively for Orbit only.

There are different username / password combos for different things.
root / password for root
admin /password for plesk
orbitlogin /password for orbit
