I signup with server matrix super celeron package (Windows 2003) with plesk as my control panel last week but until today I am still confuse how to setup the server.
Basically, I am trying to have my own nameserver. the following explains what I have done so far:
1) In registrar, I added new nameserver, ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com . I point them to my ip address .Then I point my domain name to the newly created nameserver.
2) I submited dns change request ticket to the support since i plan to have my own nameserver. They replied with dns changed successful.
3) I am using plesk, I added two clients and their domains. Then I modified the dns record zone A and CName.
4) After waiting 3 days, i still unable to ftp or visit my my clients sites. Is there anything I have did wrongly or missing? Please advice.

Firstly, since you are using your own DNS servers on your own machine, you do not need to submit a DNS Change ticket at Orbit. You only do so if you are planning to use their DNS servers.
It is difficult to determine what might be wrong. Try doing a
http://www.dnsreport.com for the domain name and see if there are any error messages. Ignore the part about your IP not being a public IP.
Try also accessing your sites via their IP address to see if it works. This is to isolate the issue.
Did you point your clients' site DNS Server entry to your DNS server ?

Thanks for reply.
I have ns1.premierconcept.com and ns2.premierconcept.com as my namesevers. I checkup the dnsreport.com and it return errors:
"A timeout occurred getting the NS records from your nameservers! None of your nameservers responded fast enough. They are probably down or unreachable. I can't continue since your nameservers aren't responding."
For my client, i have the following dns set:
69.93.233.114 / 24 PTR stoneworld.com.my.
ftp.stoneworld.com.my. CNAME stoneworld.com.my.
mail.stoneworld.com.my. A 69.93.233.114
ns.stoneworld.com.my. A 69.93.233.114
NS1.stoneworld.com.my. A 69.93.233.114
NS2.stoneworld.com.my. A 69.93.233.115
stoneworld.com.my. A 69.93.233.114
stoneworld.com.my. MX (10) mail.stoneworld.com.my.
stoneworld.com.my. NS NS1.PREMIERCONCEPT.COM.
stoneworld.com.my. NS NS2.PREMIERCONCEPT.COM.
webmail.stoneworld.com.my. A 69.93.233.114
www.stoneworld.com.my. CNAME stoneworld.com.my.
And for my server i have the following dns configuration:
<domain>. A <ip>
<domain>. MX (10) mail.<domain>.
<domain>. NS ns.<domain>.
<ip> / 24 PTR <domain>.
ftp.<domain>. CNAME <domain>.
mail.<domain>. A <ip>
ns.<domain>. A <ip>
NS1.<domain>. A 69.93.233.114
NS2.<domain>. A 69.93.233.115
webmail.<domain>. A <ip>
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

what is that .my after everything for? Is that some Plesk thing? I'm not sure exactly how Plesk works but try using DNS Administrative tool in Windows. I'm not sure if it will not affect Plesk though so play with it at your own risk.

Im kind of curious as well. Do you have to setup your DNS in Plesk or can you manually setup your zones with the built-in DNS services?
If you can use Windows DNS, by all means do so.

Ok guys. I have found the problems. On my registrar, I had entered wrong ips address for my nameserver. What a silly mistake. Anway, thanks for server matrix support guys to identified the problem for me. The .my extension is a country domain name extension. It has nothing to do with plesk setup.
