alright, i was just wondering how i can get this to show something different...
on my computer i type: tracert mysite.com
it shows me my ip
then i type: tracert my ip
and it gives me:
my.ip.address.reverse.theplanet.com
A week or so ago I put in a reverse dns request, it was completed. anyhow is there anything that i need to do on my part to fix this.
thanks in advance.

There is nothing you need to do on your machine. Drop them another ticket and have them redo it again. If done properly, it should not happen this way.

As eddy said, drop them another ticket - make sure you're clear about what you want doing, and what you want the PTR setup as for each IP.

From what I could see, that is the Forward DNS but not the Reverse DNS entry. They might not have created the Reverse DNS entry. Drop them another ticket and ask specifically for that. Make sure that you have it clearly stated that you need Reserve DNS or PTR .
